my name is david i i am 56 years old and for the last 32 years have suffered with ibs-d on a daily basis.i also suffer from osteo arthritis. i have been trying to cure my ibs for a long time and have tried many treatments but has yet no luck but i live in hope i know there is an answer out there i am determined to find it.

Close Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
have had ibs-d on a daily basis for 32 years have tried many things to try and improve my condition
Treatments
- Acidophilus Not Working
- tried all different types result is the same they upset my stomach
- Aloe Vera Not Working
- o.k. at start of treatment but after a week gave me an upset stomach
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Somewhat Helpful
- some foods and drinks upset my stomach
- Buscopan Working / Worked
- these work to a limited extent
- Chamomile Not Working
- makes me feel sick if i take it ever day
- High Fiber Diet Not Working
- disaster is not the word
- Imodium Working / Worked
- been taking these daily for 25 years best medication i have ever taken
- Lomotil Working / Worked
- been taking lomotil daily for 32 years with out this i would not go out the house
- Mebeverine Working / Worked
- take these almost ever day now they do help with pain and spasm
- Peppermint Not Working
- always makes me worse
- Probiotics Not Working
- always makes me worse
- Psyllium Not Working
- makes me bloat gives me spasms and lots of wind
