my problem is eyelashes, and eyebrows. It started when i was 13 or so. This year will be 10 years since the plucking began. I think the first time i noticed the hair pulling was triggered by mascara. i had tried my mothers on and when i proceeded to clean it off, i pulled out an eyelash. It felt good, that was the first hair, it has not stopped, varied, but never stopped.

Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful

i am no longer in therapy however when i was going it helped. the therapist however never let me know that i had a disorder. i felt alone like i was the only person in the world that did these things.

Writing Somewhat Helpful

After months with the therapist he read something he asked me to write about my future goals. he let me know that he no longer thought i needed his help and that i should start writing everything on my mind. it helped it became my life. now i have 5 notebooks full of poetry front and back pages. Yet am still missing too many eyelashes on my face.
