My daughter, myself and two of my grandchildren have chronic eczema. We want to learn more about treatment / prevention options.

Treatments

Betamethasone (Topical) Somewhat Helpful

Elidel Working / Worked

Worked pretty good.

Emu Oil Somewhat Helpful

Helped to keep moisturized.

Eucerin Somewhat Helpful

Helped to keep skin moisturized, but felt gross to me.

Evening Primrose Oil Not Working

Could not really tell a difference

Hydrocortisone Somewhat Helpful

Melaleuca Tea tree oil Not Working

Does not help. In fact, it can seriously irritate eczema in some people.

Triamcinolone Topical Somewhat Helpful

Like everything else that is "somewhat helpful", it just isn't helpful enough.
