Close Anger Management
I married a Christian man 2 years ago and he has been physically and verbally abusive. He has now left our home and abandoned us, including financially. He lies about getting counseling and often ends up cussing me if we communicate. I am hoping he gets help before someone gets hurt.

I married a Christian man 2 years ago and he has been physically and verbally abusive. He has now left our home and abandoned us, including financially. Now, I'm doing what I can to become healthy and supportive to my children.
Treatments
- Couples Counseling Working / Worked
- can't do couples council until he goes through anger management... went through couples council earlier and the result was physically harmful to me.
- Family Therapy Working / Worked
- have a pastor that counseled me to divorce
- Forgiveness Working / Worked
- working on it... I do forgive him but am still dealing with the issue, so it seems to keep coming back.
- Love Working / Worked
- I do love him and want the best for him!
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- still working on this one... waiting for the funds
- Reading Working / Worked
- I am doing a great deal of reading and research on our issues.

- I have a prayer team for me. My family is supporting me. I have joined an online support group. I have a counselor.

- We are still talking, however it is on his terms.
Open Physical & Emotional Abuse
My Christian husband of 2 years has been physically and very verbally abusive to me. I had to ask him to leave and so we are separated and going through counseling now. I have 2 daughters and trying to put our family together and yet keep us safe.

- Have in the past. He says he is getting it counseling although I am concerned as his counselor does not seem to have good advise in my opinion.... praying to hear better things from him

- again, joined group discussions on line.. it's free and so I use it as a resource. Have a prayer team at church.
