Thursday, September 25, 2008 | A Frustrating story

I went to see the diabetes doctor today with good news, my A1C is down .9 points.  I was a 8.6 and drop to 7.7.  Thats the good news. 

Around a month ago I gained 5 pounds. Not changing anything, in fact maybe eating better that before.  I went down to 1200 calories a day.

Now I see a personal trainer 3 times a week plus do cardio 3 times a week burning 500 calories. It's been a month and I did not lose a pound not even a 1/2 a pound. 

I'm so frustrated.  Saw my intern today got a great health report.  He told me he doesn't know why I don't lose weight.  The only he told me was that the insulin holds the carlories in my body. I don't know.  I let myself get depress for a minute and than go on with life.

Wednesday, July 16, 2008 | A Frustrating story
Yesterday I went to put on the new clothes I bought a month ago, my husband and I were going out, and they didn't fit.  I got so upset.  This is my problem.  For 2 weeks now I have been eating between 1200 - 1400 calories and exercising at least 4 times a week and haven't lost a pound and my clothes don't fit. I just don't know what to do.  For the first time I looked in the mirror and saw a fat person.  This has been my story since I got diabetes. I really tried to keep a positive attitude but it just stinks. Not one doctor has an answer why my body is like this.  UGH !!!

One day @ a Time Mood

I started to count calories. I'm shooting between 1200 and 1400 a day. I also started to exercise a little more. So far three days in a row. Did 45 min cardio and some strength training.
