I experience terrible cramps too. For them I take Advil or any other form of Ibuprofen. It helps. If you are worried about taking it. Please talk to a pharmacist. They can help you ease any questions you may have on the subject. Good luck

Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
I discovered I Have PCOS in Nov. 06'. I have unbearable pelvic pain at times and horrible periods, when I actually have 1. I had a lapraoscopy in Jan and my doctor drained my cysts. I am on metformin.

My grandmother was diagnosed with the disease 12/07 and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.
Open Miscarriage
I have PCOS, had a laprascopy 2 years back to remove cysts. I am on 1000 mg of metformin daily. We got pregnant on the third round of clomid. I miscarried at 8 weeks. The baby's heart stopped beating. I had a d & c the next day 1/23. Trying to wrap my head around it all now.
