Althought I've had symptoms for many years, I've just started the diagnosis process.
I've had RLS for about 25 years. My mother had it, so I guess I inherited it. I didn't know what it was the first 10 years, just knew I couldn't keep my legs still and had to get up in the middle of the night to exercise just so I could get some sleep. It has gotten progressively worse over the past 7 or 8 years and now includes my arms and happens earlier in the day and throughout the night.
