Thank you for your encouragement. I wanted to join this site because my friends that I have are all tiny and they are the type that say Oh I am sooo fat when they weight about 100pds I myself am heavy and know that being around them even though I love them to death does not help when they say things like that. I am here for you also to talk if you need to.

I am a 32 year old woman. Married with a beautiful 3 year old daughter. I have been at my heaviest at 231 pounds and went ont the high protein diet in 2002 and lost 75 lbs. I am now almost back to where I started. I am now back up to 216 lbs. Part of my weight gain (but I will not blame all of it) is due to a recent thyroid diagnosis. I gained 20 lbs. in about 2 1/2 months. It has been hard to deal with that. I am ready now to find support and get back on track.
