i am married to a wonderful, loving woman who was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder-- our relationship is really strained..or from my end it is..the disease makes her very dependent and i am in a bitter struggle as to stay in the relationship..or after 8 years of marriage...end it..my strong belief in commitment holds me here...but when does it become too much to handle...manic...she is impossible to live with..i am now struggling with a lingering depression

i am married to a bi-polar woman, she is the most kind,loving, caring person when she is not manic..it almost seems to me , at times, like she is purposly trying to ruin our relationship.. she can be very dependent and , at times, very needy, i am trying everything to cope and deal... the struggle is causing me to be depressed...i am desparate for support
