Yahoooy Another Birthday!
I am soooo thankful and blessed for another birthday. Still intending to find someone to share some wonderful time with.
With brain surgery behind me as of Jan 17, 2008, my bad headaches, are fortunately gone. I know I’m blessed and I’m so thankful to be alive. The surgeons thought they got it (except the non operable part) all but with the 3 month MRI they see the truth. (we made it mad) With radiation over I continue to celebrate every day with the theme of what I am thankful for. Each day/hour brings something different, sometimes challenging but my thankfulness of being alive far outweighs my frustrations of what may be currently be going on. I am never giving up hope and I will always do the very best I can, in my recovery and every facet of my being. Now looking for a job I can do with new challenges and celebrate every day. I’m excited!

Hi My name is Brigitte. I have survived an inoperable brain stem tumor. I have been cancer free for 14 years. I have a website that tells you what I did... My website is brigitteandcancer@webonsites.com A big message is to tell people to try everything to save their lives. I did chemo, radiation, sugarless diet because tumours feed on sugar, numerous healers and final thing was acupuncture. The internet is also a great way to get information on helping to heal yourself.
THank you for your kind words. You really know what to say. Laura
Thanks for the hug, what a bad year, but then I see your issues... wow. Maybe you can make mine seem not so bad. I don't know, but hi back at you. CC
The biggest obstacle for me was to get someone to believe the pain I was in was more than a aspirin could handle. I thank God for my family physician. I asked them the radiologist to please use the contrast so they could see everything, he said “not needed.” Next day had to go for another MRI STAT with contrast. My brain tumor surgically removed, headaches gone and looking forward to being radiation free soon. (10 more treatments) This has been such an education.
