About Me
I have been diagnosed with several health issues from fibromyalgia, POTS syndrome, which is a heart defect and long QT symdrome ( another heart issue). However, at this point I am being tested for some serious pulmonary problems due to symptoms I have that will not resolve and cannot be attributed to any of my other health problems. I am a 42 year old who has been a single mom for 12 years. I have been able to raise my 3 kids without any child support or help despite my health issues, although it hasent been easy. My oldest just graduated from college and my youngest from high school, she will be starting college in the fall. Now if I can just get my health stabilized I can get on with my life!

Close Fibromyalgia
I left an alcoholic abusive husband many years ago with 3 babies in tow and went to a battered women's shelter. Over the years I managed to get a bachelor's degree in science, raise 3 kids singlehandedly. I am getting fairly desperate to get help for my medical problems, I am getting to the point of not being able to function no matter how hard I push myself. I cannoy get a rheumatoligist to see me due to insurance issues and am currently not treated for the fibro other than neurontin.

- BuSpar Working / Worked
- was helpful for anxiety
- Celebrex Not Working
- worked great but made me violently nauseus so I discontinued
- Chantix Working / Worked
- Great!!! No side effects quit smoking after 3 days and only used med for a month total.
- Lasix Not Working
- Cant get any diuretic to work Lasix included
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- Great for nerve damage and nerve pain also use for fibromyalgia treatment for pain and sleep management
- Nexium Working / Worked
- The OLY thing that works for my GERD acid reflux
- Symbicort Somewhat Helpful
- improved my asthma but still not under control
Close Anemia
Type: Iron Deficiency AnemiaI have been anemic for over a year now, was told last month my blood levels were 3 pints low. Started iron shots a couple of days ago, will get anoter shot in a couple of days then wait 2 weeks and check levels. Hope this works, I am so tired all the time I cant function, although I have so many other health issues I'm not sure if all the exhaustion is from the anemia!

- Unable to absorb the iron from food sources or iron pills
- Iron Too Soon to Tell
- Just started shots, will have more info in a couple of weeks
Open Asthma
Have had exercise induced asthma all my life but recently was iagnosed with "temporary asthma" and given inhalers and steroids. It did not go away and I just went for a PFT to see if it is truly just asthma or if I may have other pulmonary issues. Asthma still here and not under control.
