My father has lived with diabetes most of his adult life. It has caused a lot of other medical problems (congestive heart failure, being the worst). I have a different condition and I find a lot of similarities with diabetes. I am predispositioned to developing diabetes and get checked regularly.
Open Gay Men's Challenges
I'm a 37 year old gay man dealing with issues of loneliness. I can't seem to find anyone who is interested in more than sex (one-time sexual encounters). I'm to the point of deep resentment toward myself and others who are gay. The only thing I have in my life, right now, is my daughter. Without her, there is really no point to my existence. It's the only reason I go to the doctor and take my meds (I am recently diagnosed positive).
