Hi Kathy, I will be going on the 21st. I have chemo again on the 23rd so I should be in good shape. I'm glad you were able to make it to the lunch.
do you know what will you be getting for chemo this time? I ended up sleeping over 10 hours last night. I started falling asleep watching TV around 7:00 PM and could hardly wake up enough to make it to bed. I woke up at 2:30 thinking that I wouldn't fall back to sleep but I did. Of course, I still feel somewhat tired. I'm glad you got a chemo break and that you should be stronger to start again. Much love, Janet
Hi Kathy, I'm sorry that I had to miss First Mondays but I was just too tired plus I meet with Linda on Tuesday mornings these days. The last two first Mondays have come right after my chemo Fridays and I am just so tired still by Monday. I'm a little more energized today but not much. Have you started your new chemo regimen yet? How is it? How often are you getting treatment? Very best wishes with it - I will keep you in my prayers. There is another Ovar'coming educational event on October 21 by Dr. Sutton. I will probably go to that since it should be a good day for me. Much love and healing thoughts, Janet
Unsure what you're up to these days, but sending you love and warm thoughts. love and purrs, R&S
Hello.. thinking of you and wondering how you are getting on.. Love and best wishes to you.. xxx
Just a short note of support.
In June 2007 I became very ill. I had nausea, vomiting and severe abdominal pain. I lost 80 pounds but my abdomen became very distended and hard. From June to Nov I had 11 surgeries and multiple CT scans. With no clear diagnosis. I was getting weaker with increasing shortness of breath. I went to the hospital for a colonoscopy and I asked the Dr to do a chest x-ray because I couldn't breathe. It showed that I had a collapsed right lung. They removed 2 liters of fluid and the results came back positive for adenocarcinoma originating from the ovaries, stage IV ovarian cancer
