Well, I am on the mend, I hope, upper respiratory infection and now in the lungs, but I did get out of bed off/on after one week...husband is doing a little arond the house...grandson is now a senior in high school. I hope to be optimistic about everything - life as we know it here is too short.

If you would like to see it, request a friendship.
I feel so much better - the right meds and learning that it is what is real and not what I feel that really matters. I am not sleeping much though - never over 2 hours at a time - am
working with doctors to see if it is Interstitial Cystitis or sleep apnea. Nevetheless, I am alive
and feeling really much better.

Anytime someone has a chronic condition such as what you describe (IC) depression unfortunately goes with it, not to mention the stressors with your family, in particular your son. A mother's worse nightmare is to stand by and watch a child (no matter what age!) destroy their lives! Please try Al Anon. There you will find the love and peace you seek.

I've had a couple of those URI's. Sometimes they can take awhile to totally go away. Last time I had symptoms that hung on a long time, way past after I finished all my meds. I think it was about 4 weeks from going to DR. to finally being free of all symptoms. Try to avoid any irritants in the air, they can make symptoms flare up. Drink lots of water. I'll pray for you. And remember God heals all of our ailments and delivers us out of all of our distresses.
