Well I managed it!!!!! and I am sooooo proud of myself too.
We had a wonderful weekend in the beautiful city of Bath and the Roman Baths really blew us away.It was AMAZING and to have had the honour of walking(literaly)in the footsteps of millions of Roman pilgrims is something that I shall always remember.
I managed to do a bit of walking and although we couldn't do all the things that we would have liked to due to the pain that I was having to try and deal with, we really did benefit from some time together away from home and all the hassles that go with everyday life.
As for today I have really been paying for the wonderful weekend and have just taken extra meds to try and dull the pain but as usual they do wipe me out and render me useless for anything other than sleep!!!!!
I have managed somehow to make my youngest a wedding dress for her dressing up day at school on Wednesday being the last day of term they decided that they would have a theme day being"Going to a wedding" and Siobhan being such a girlly girl that she had to be a bride!!!!
Ok I'm off now as am really tired and have awful pain from my hips down and my shoulders/blades are quite swollen too so off to bed for me xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

LOL ... Siobhan wanting to be a bride. Me, too!! I would want to the THEE BRIDE on dress up day ... but I usually settled for the jilted girlfriend (at a party in college ... I wore all black and carried dead flowers). Ahhhhhh, memories.
Wow! What a great weekend you had! I had no idea that Bath was called Bath because of actual baths!! lol -- there's an American education for you.
Sorry you are paying for it. The happy memories will out live the physical pain! I'm so glad you went!! xx
