My brother is 17, and my family has struggled with it for a very long time. Recently, my father died, and since he took care of my brother the most, we had to find another place for him to live. My brother had became violent; hitting and pushing us. He is 5'7, 260 lbs and none of us could overcome him except my father. My brother is profoundly autistic. We now have him in a group home.I guess my problem is that I've always been depressed about it. My mother, too. We need some emotional support

- My brother worked one-on-one with special teachers all of his life.

- Is this the mercury thing? Because we did that and it didn't work.

- I believed this helped.

- We always have to be patient with him.
- Picture / Word Schedules Not Working
- We had a picture board where he could point out what he wanted. He didn't understand.

Since I've graduated highschool (4 years) I've gained 50 pounds! I have no energy and generally feel unhealthy. I know I need to cut calories, but I'm often depressed and unmotivated.

- I lost weight, but it was expensive and I was miserable

- Can't seem to stick with it, but it works.
