Thank you so much for your quick response to my email. I really appreciate the info you shared!!!!! After today's emergency appt, testing determined that I have vitreous detachment, and my retina is fine. Scary time, scary stuff anyway. Again, thanks!!!!!

Close Glaucoma
I was diagnosed with glaucoma 2 years ago. I've been taking xalatan, asopt and I just started Alphagan P but the side effects are too much for me so I will not take another dose. I had 2 surgeries for detached retina in the right eye this winter. Not fun. My grandma and aunt have glaucoma and my mom may have it too. I need support and friendship with people who are going through similar things.
Treatments
- Azopt Working / Worked
- Its working but my doc added another drop.
- Alphagan P Too Soon to Tell
- Im going off it cause of side effects.
- Xalatan Working / Worked
- Works but not enough by itself
Close Retinal Detachment
I am 54 and female. Last winter I had a detached retina in the right eye 2x with 2 gas bubble surgeries, one month apart. I also have glaucoma.
