Well it's been since Dec. 1 since I last posted. How time flies.
I've had a serious dating relationship the last 4 months. And taken for a fool the whole time!
How stupid can one be?! Only saw me on the week-ends. Though for a period in December we were together for 2 weeks. Turned out the "Divorce" wasn't really happening. And the "Ex" gave her an ultimatum when she got home Monday, I came in 2nd.
Stupid does run rampant 
Anyway...I have my first Ballroom Dance competition on Saturday. My instructor is quite pleased with my routines. So there is hope . The lads are well and running rampant on their spring holiday from school.
Now I must go about the business of getting a garden in. Something I've wanted to do for a long time. Later, Jerry

Well it's been quiet here!
I had 25 in the house for the holiday. 3 turkeys - 1 smoked, 1 fried, 1 baked.
Pounds of deserts. Thought I'd have food for weeks. Then Jeremy had a sleep-over for his 18th birthday. Said there'd only be 4 or 5. Woke up Sunday morning with 12...count them 12...teenagers scattered through the house...and no leftovers.
Could be something to remember next year.
Ballroom dancing is going great. Other than doing it in competition the possiblity of becoming an instructor has been favorably raised.
Once again a potential relationship dawns. I'm back to seriously looking...but with a great deal more caution. Not looking for a perfect fit...but something really close.
Gee, other than that...life is slow.
Slow is good.

First night I've been home before 9:00 in 5 weeks.
Ballrom Dancing is taking over my life. According to several instructors I am one of the fastest studies they've seen. And it really breaks my heart to have to dance with all the good looking women.
Of course last night I had 3 who were drunk that seemed to keep trying to find me not dancing
Fortunately there were others to fill my dance card.
Jeremy is enlisted in the Marine Corps. He'll be gone come summer. Zachary is on the run from the law. Kinda rough as he's only 14. Kid really went stupid. Decided to quit school, run away, and try to live on the streets. We'll find him. Matthew is the blessed normal one. Good grades and 2...count them TWO...girlfriends
The ex? Quien sabe? She's around.
And I am still happily single. Thought there might have been something in the works but alas twas for naught.
I live a little too hard. Always going for something to push my limits. No time for doing nothing. I think it's still a self defense mechanism. Staying to busy to get involved, thereby too busy to get hurt.
So I'm happy, if only in my ignorance. Sometimes ignorance is bliss. Life is good.

Keep some room on that dance card mister! Good for you! Life is for the living, cause your a long time dead! Sorry to hear about the boy thinking he's a man, sometimes the school of hard knocks is the only teacher they hear. You didn't raise stupid boys, so they will all find their way. I have too much time on my hands and that is a curse too!!!!
