About Me
I am a stay at home mom. I have two little girls, Emily who is 4 and Lacie who is 3. I am married. My husband is a firefighter. I want to be a model/actress but my weight is even too low for the entertainment industry. I have my B.F.A in Media Arts and Animation and an Associates in Interior Design. Before I had kids, I was a lead teacher in the two year old room. After I had my first daughter I worked part time as an art teacher in an Elementary school. I did that for one school year then I decided to just be a stay at home mom and I love. I can't imagine having to work again. I currently live in Illinois, but I grew up in Florida. I used to be a figure skater, which I happened to be pretty good at. I also was a ballerina and danced on point. I have two sisters. My older sister, who is 29, was adopted because my mom was told she couldn't have kids. The doctor was wrong. She has 3 kids, but she is not raising them. My parents raise them. So it's like I have 2 extra sisters and a brother. I have a younger sister who is 25, pregnant, and perfect.

I miss you all the time Lauren. I still can't believe you aren't here anymore. You know, it was your death that got me to get my butt in gear and start recovery. See? Even in death you're helping people. Love you girl.

Close Eating Disorders
Type: AnorexiaI have been battling anorexia on and off since I was 12. I was in recovery from the ages of 18 to 23. My anorexia came back during my second pregnacy. I think I didn't try hard enough to stay in recovery. I thought anorexia was a thing of the past and that it would never happen to me again. I was wrong. I'm really struggling at the moment. I'm not well at all.
Treatments
- Dietitian Consult Not Working
- I seen a dietitian twice. During my second appiontment, she told me she couldn't help me because I was too underweight and there was liabilty issues.
- Psychotherapy Not Working
- My first apiontment went great, but after was not helpful at all. I always left feeling worse about myself.
Close Parenting Preschoolers (3-5)
I have a 4 year old daughter and a 3 year old daughter. They keep me busy, busy busy, but they are healthy which I am so thankful for.
