  I was diagnosed when i was in med school and i was able to do the work i love for only a few years until it got so bad i was not able to be reliable for the medical field. I now work in an office were i am able to go to the bathroom when i can but it is so hard i think we should be able to get disability for this i am to the point were i have a hard time doin thigs in fear that i will not make it to the bathroom and i have been driving home and have not made it and that is so humiliating. i was grocery shopping last night and had to run across the store. i have times at work that i dont make it. an i am like 15 feet from the bathroom. i have 2 little kids and can not go for walks and am affraid to go to the park. i will let you know how my surgery goes i cant wait to be normal again.

  I understand being young and frustrated with why we are sick i hate it but i finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Surgery is an option. Having a good GI doc is important an so is the pcp mine is a jerk. Hope you find a new doc.
