I was blessed with this prayer today, and I wanted to share it with you. It gave me a reassurance of peace and a reminder that His presence is in us if we give Him room in our busy, stressful lives. 'May today there be peace within. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content knowing you are a child of God. Close Obesity
I'm 54 and currently weight 245 lbs. I was normal weight until 11 to 12 years ago when there was a major tragedy in my life. It was really a lot of things working together, but the result was that I grew to twice the size I was when I met my husband. I've just started to experience some health issues that were brought on by my obesity. I have tried a lot of things.
Treatments
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- I went on a healing diet for Syndrome X - it eliminated a lot of foods, but it worked for a while
- Physical Exercise Working / Worked
- A 30 minute walk every day is something I've found to stop me from gaining MORE pounds
Close Menopause
I've crossed over from periomenopause to post-menopausal. It's always kind of amused me that there really is no menopause state - you are either before or after.
Open Fibromyalgia
I've been suffering from a long list of symptoms commonly attributed to FMS for 2+years, however I have not been dx'd officially. My PCC has tested for every other possible cause and the only thing that shows is arthritis, but regardless of official dx, I am in need of some support from others with like difficulties
Open Families of Prisoners
In 1995 my only son, whom I raised alone, was convicted of first degree murder & sentance to life without possibility of parole. An appeal won him a reduction to murder two which is also a life sentance, but with possibility of parole in 2009. He is waiting for another appeal which might get it reduced to manslaughter.

Open Diabetes Type 2
I was diagnosed about a year and a half ago - but I hadn't had a physical for 10 years, so who knows how long this was going on. My blood tests put my just over the line between prediabetes and diabetes. Needless to say I'm hopeful of turning it back around.
