welcome to the non-warafin club. How are you doing? Its great to hear from you - you helped me ENORMOUSLY when i first had my PE - more than you'll ever know. thank you. Have you done any more flying recently - make sure you get those injections if you do - you need some nice bruises to match the lovely stockings you wear - haaaaaa. I am now applying for some more jobs, had enough of teaching and so fingers crossed I can start to get that pasrt of my life sorted now. How is your job going? Any more trips to UK planned?
So you're off - welcome to the club. How are you doing? It took me a while, but I am feeling soooooooooo much better.
Kathleen, I'm so happy for you! How did you decide to come off the meds earlier than expected? I will be the last of us June 2008 PE's to come off because I may wait until July or Aug.... I'm finally starting to feel better. Still have lung pain, but starting to feel more like myself. Because I wasn't on the BCP or any other factors.... my hemo is going to wean me off slowly and watch my d-dimers plus any weird symptoms! How exciting for you! I've been guilty of not reading much DS.... was making me too anxious for awhile plus I'm spending more time getting back to "regular" life and a new facebook addict!!? This will keep your mind off of anything.... No one wants to hear whining on FB- so I have to get on with my real life. I'm so glad that I can always come back to DS for hugs, mental and educational info and lots of love when I need people to understand how I'm really feeling! :) Keep us posted on life after blood thinners! Lori (I'll send pm with my full name if you are on facebook!) Dero, hopper-nancy and Cupcake are all my friends. Keep in touch!
hey girlie happy 8 months!
You got my heart racing when I read your post.... I'm so GLAD that it was a mistake!! wow.... the person who typed this should buy you lunch for the next week!!? :)
I am 36 years old and was diagnosed/treated for a PE on 6/4/08 with no known (or as yet discovered) conditions, other than a family history (my father died of a PE 8 years ago).
