I am a 38 yo Divorced Female with 2 teenage boys. I have been diagnosed With Fibromyalgia 13 years ago along with Chronic Fatigue & PCOS & With Cervical Spondylsis(Neck)& Mutiple Chemical Sensitivity & Allergic Rhinitis (Persistent Enlarged Turbinates). And Epstein Bar Virus & Most Recent 10/08 Addison's Disease due to Extremely Low Cortisol. I was diagnosed With Addison's & found out it has caused 95% of my problems for the last 5 years. So I am learning as much as I can about all this and on my way to recovery with Cortef & diet & Support of My friends & family. I have often felt alone in all of this, but Know that there are so many people going through the same on here. I have refused to lay down & let these Illnesses & Diseases get the better of me & run my life anymore. I want to Live Life! For 13 years I have let Fibromaylgia be my Excuse for everything. I was Frustrated Because I didn't understand. Not Knowing is a hard thing to go through. Not anymore, life is too short... I am learning as much as I can about all of my problems & I will overcome them one at a time. I have done 10 years of Extensive Medical Research & It has finally paid off. I finally helped myself find the right doctor & found what was wrong with me & causing all my symptoms. It might have taking a decade but I am here with hope. I encourage all of you to do the same. Don't give up when one doctor discourages you. Keep looking until you find A Doctor who will listen. Fibromaylgia & other Diagnoses listed above are coming from a underlying cause. In My Case It Was Addison's Disease & Epstein Bar Virus, So do not settle for a Doctor telling you there is nothing you can do about it. If you want to feel better help yourself & do your Research. Find that Underlying Cause & Get Treatment. My advice is get to a Encronoligist & A Internal Medicine Doctor. Both Can find things that other doctors cannot & ask to be checked for everything & go from there. This is who helped me find my Severe Adrenal Gland problem after Years of misery. I have had Fibromyalgia/Cfs for over 13 years, & I need support. I want to live life again. The fibro keeps me in my house away from everyone & everything. I have tried ever medication on the market & the side effects are worse then the fibro itself. I take alot of natural supplements to help me, I also have cervical spondylsis in my neck which adds to the muscle pain in my body. I would like to start a local support group in my area of birmingham, alabama. If you know of one please let me know.

Open Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
I have been diagnosed with PCOS for 12 years. I do not understand PCOS like I would like. I am 38 yo female with 2 boys that are teenagers. I developed PCOS after my second child. I had to have a hysteroctomy because of the Cysts on my ovaries & that was in 2000, I am not taking hormones & now I am going through menopause. I can't sleep at night, My hair is falling out. I have excessive hair growth on my face & neck. I am tired all the time. I also gained alot of weight after I was diagnosed.

Open Degenerative Disc Disease
I have disc degenerative Disease in the Neck. Very painful, have had surgery but no help. Keep having problems. My insurance won't cover another pain block, so I am going through some tough times right now. I am hurting down in my back & arms.. Muscle Spasms out of control!

Just found out that I tested positive for Epstein Bar Virus and have extremely low cortisol levels. My adrenal glands have shut down. They have me on prednisone. It has been causing all my problems all along. It took me so long to find this out. I need help on knowing how to get this reversed. I don't handle stress well at all.
