  I am so with ya on the yellow jello with shredded carrots AND cold turkey dipped in salted ketchup!!! I always get the "ewwww" look as I am dipping my turkey!

  hahahaha so glad to know Im not the only one that wants to watch tv while taking a bath. I just recently figured out I could watch some of my tv shows on the net on my lap top and I had it almost a year lmao....
  
  sadly I know santa has very little money this year he has to get ready for the new baby lol
  
  Have a good sleep. I need to take my sleep meds and hopefully be able to fall asleep soon... sadly (but happy at the same time) this baby Im growin keeps me up nites. thank god I have tivo giggle

  I totally need to get a portable tv ;p I would like to make watching tv in the bath sooo much beter. I try to watch it on my laptop but my internet sucks so the download on the shows usually sucks lol. I dont even know when most my shows come on any more. I know survivor is on on thursdays and amazing race on sundays... I think house is mondays but mybe tuesdays??? LOL
  
  One bad thing about tivo is you fast forward through comercials so sometimes if you dont pay attention you miss when new stuff is coming out and dont know about new cool shows lol. You can program it to record stuff of certain types and that helps... Key words... reg dvrs dont do that lol poor clueless people ;p lol if you love your tv and it sounds like you do then you need a tivo even if its 6 months from now ;p

  ya I dont know about compatability with hd vs no hd. My tv is a tad older and not an HD tv (I think I dunno lol) as much as I watch tv I should spoil my self with HD :P For now Im just happy to get my tivo ;p. Also if you are a member of netflix and have tivo connected to the net it will get stuff off netflix like your computer and let you watch it. It also does like disney and a bunch of other 'watch it now' stuff. I even think if you store your cerdit card in the tivo info you can order dominos... lol whats next??? I mean if I cant pick up the phone or surf the net for a pizza do I REALLY need that pizza??? ;p

  I went to tivos site and they had refurbished ones for 80$ I was really suprised. ANd you can always do the monthly fee of 12$ instead of the lifetime whichis so much more. The one on sale wasnt HD but I dont even think mine is HD I forget lol... ANd it will work with only basic cable even. You just tell it what channels you actually have and it will only record off those channels. We have a lot of channels (50 or so) but no movie channels. I dont care if I onlyhad 6 I would still use it ;p and it will still split the cable you do have and record 2 shows at once which I love since I have shows that conflict all the time ;0 and it is probally my best fibrofog tool ever

  TIVO IS the bestest....
  
  I HAVE A SONY AND MY FIRST ONE EVER WAS ALSO A SONY. It can go with any television providor. SO lets say you have cable for 2 years you buy thir DVR and then you switch to satalite. You owuld have to buy thier DVR. PLUS the DVRs for the individual companies are NO WHERE AS GOOD!!!!
  
  GO to TIVO.com and you will see all they have to offer. I think I paid about 300$ for my unit but I think I went witht he little better one. TH youca either pay a month payment of like 12$ or you can get a life time subscription for a couple hundred. When we bought our newest tivo we paid the monthly because we didnt have the money for the yearly. After the first year is up we will likely pay the lifetime subscription. You do haveto have access to either the internet or a telephone line to down load info. We dont have either one out our house so we take it to my sons house every 2 weeks to down load the data.
  
  It is really easy to install. YOu plug it in and attach it to the tv. It them prompts you how to connect to the internet and then it does its own thing. After you set it up the first time if you dont make any changes it continues to go online with out assistance and gets what you need and you never again have to deal with it unless you moveit or need to chnge things.
  
  As for watching your shows it cant be easier. And as you tell tivo what you like with thumbs up and thumbs down it will start taping things t thinks you wil like. YOu can tell it to record an episode or the series. You can also tell it that if anything with the name 'fibromyalgia' in the title or description to tape it for you. Or anyting for that matter.
  
  Once and a while it does get messed up but its usually cause the user tells it to do somehting and overrides what they really want done. But for te most part it is my ultimate life saver for boredom as I always have 100 hours of tv to watch... not that i ever get all 100 hours watched at once but the point is its there if Im in the mood to watch it.
  
  I have 3 or4 episodes of several of my favorite shows waiting to be watched. I just havent been in the mood to watch them. And as long as I keep the junk off tivo then it will never delete the old episodes.
  
  You can also say keep 5 of this type of show and and 25 episodes of this show...
  
  Gee can you tell I love tivo??? I have had a tivo for about 10 years or so. I am on number 2. I have also had a DRV through direct tv and it was NO WHERE as GOOD!!! I LOVE my TIVO
