Well I am unique...at least my mama tells me so. I am rather random. Spontaneous. I adore music, mostly eclectic unheard of bands. I also like weird movies. Somedays PTSD gets the better of me. Otherdays, I kick PTSD ass. I like thunderstorms. And I love lamp.

Ok...ups and downs suck! I know what you mean when you say that you can see how people think of suicide...but it's the easy way out! Nothing in this world worth doing is easy!

hi...no, i don't think i'll head back to africa. i did a year in the south pacific, and it's there or india next for me. but, as with you, i have to shed my `african' ptsd first.
Awesome I'm glad to hear the adventure was a success! It's tough to keep in the moment and not have expectations.
As a sidenote, the guy I was talking about, I just got in my car and drove away... I mean... if he had to offer a car for a date... there must be a SERIOUS problem!! Like I say, makes for a good story tho! It helps (me anyway) to look at experiences and present situations as a future story... makes it less overwhelming and reminds me that there is a future and this moment isn't forever. :)
i met and married a girl from south africa, and we moved over there together. i managed to do some aidwork (building; i am a carpenter), and really miss some of that life.
