I was diagnosed w/ MCTD 6 years ago, followed by fibro 2 years later and every day is a struggle. The number one thing that keeps me getting up every morning and going every day is my beautiful daughter. She is an insperation to me at the wonderful age of 9. If it wasn't for her unfailing spirit I don't know if I would still be here.

I have been diagnosed w/ MCTD for 6 years followed by fibro 2 years later. This can be a very ugly disease to deal with and the best advice I can give anyone new to this is that if you don't have a dr who will listen and respect you, GET OUT NOW!!! The only defense you have is a proactive dr and yourself both armed with as much info as possible.
