  Hi Laura, I am so sorry to hear about what you are going through. I know sometimes we say things that we do not mean when we are upset. I've been there plenty of times. I am praying for peace and happiness for you my dear friend. I know that you may not see that now but that day is coming. Things are getting somewhat better for me but I still have a long way to go to get there. Life can be so hard at times. I miss you girly! Please keep hanging in there.

  Hi sis, yes we should've gotten together and went to Judi's. What fun we would've had. Thanks so much for being here for me. I don't feel much like a survivor but I guess that is what they call it.   Hi sis, I am no superhero. I just want you to be happy. And maybe it is this man or maybe some other one down the road. Just don't close your heart to any kind of happiness. Do you remember when I told you what Ronnie said to me when he was dying? Make sure your next husband is tall, dark and handsome with a big fat checkbook. I know David didn't get the chance to give you his blessing, but i know in my heart that he would've said the same thing as Ronnie. I think back to those words and as hard as it was at the time to hear them, he knew I needed to have his blessing. So just think about everything and realize David wants you to be happy. You have overcome death and grief before and found love again. And I know you are strong enough to do the same again. I love ya sis, Pam

  One thought to add to what I wrote on your journal. If you decide to give this guy a shot, (PLEASE say you will!) keep reminding yourself of this:
  
  He isn't David. He won't /can't do & say the things David did. But that's ok. You aren't the same Laura that David knew.
  
  I know you know that already, but you've really gotta KNOW it, clear down to your toes. and, like Pam & Judi said, keep us posted.

  Hey Laura, I was only hoping to help you see what an opportunity you might be passing up. The fact that you shared the letter he wrote in your "cry for help" kind of made me think that you were considering giving him a chance but was feeling maybe overwhelmed with guilt for even thinking about it. I hope I wasn't too pushy but I really think you should follow your heart on this. You're one of the toughest yet kindest and gentlest people I know and I trust your judgement - you should too. Like Pam said, you got to keep us posted on what or if anything comes of this...deal? Hugs, Judi
