  Are you talking about my psychodelic plant? It's called JIMSONWEED and I'm hoping it comes up again this year! Thank you for your support, I have just gone through the 10 days from hell for sure: the cruelest case of cold turkey because my dr. had no sense of responsibility in his absence...hubs was ready to knock him out thurs. and had to leave the office so as not to embarrass me and further cut me off. I feel so weak and sick, it has been nothing short of hell. Maybe I'm starting to have difficulty bouncing back because of my age, all I know is how I have been made to suffer! Mixed in with the mess is I lost my appetite and it still hasn't returned. Do I keep going to this winner or what? I can't very well walk into a new dr.'s office and ask for norco on the spot. I've also had it with pain management dr's, it's a money making game for them! My chiro said an epidural cortisone could only last a day and only up to 3 months. Why do we have to agree to getting speared in our spinal cord so we appear 'cooperative'? I am one confused lady right now. This was my third visit and my ear infection won't go away, now I'm on Biaxen and it makes me extremely nauseous...I'm afraid I have the MRSA in my head again and am afraid it will kill me. It's so resistant only one antibiotic kills it and it only comes in intravenous. I'm so strung out from the withdrawl that I'm having a hard time fighting back these days. You made my day when I read your hug, you are a great person and someone I could be very close to! Hope you are doing better in this battle, it's really one day at a time, no? I only tried to hit the bottle twice and quickly gave that solution up, I go into crying jags if I drink right now so I am abstaining from this solution...know what.....I was a much happier person when I blocked out my problems with that vodka on ice! Keep in touch and take care of yourself, God loves you and so do I!!!

  How are we today? Do you know we both joined DS within 2 weeks of each other in June 2008? Don't know how we missed each other. LOL I sure do miss alot of the oldtimers. Love ya

  I totally understand where you are coming from.If the docs would just give enough meds so we can have a quality of life.So we could do things that "normal" people do.It is a good idea to bring family with you to your appointments. Hopefully the doc will raise your doses so you don't go short.Please let me know how you are going and I hope you have a low pain day. Scooterpea ( Sharon )

  Thank you for your great advice.I do need to see a oounseler or someone like that.I am going to keep the other doctor I have though. He is a pain specialist who actually cares about people's pain.I am going to look into seeing a psychiatrist too though. Thank you for being so caring.I really do appreciate it.Maybe the new doc can make it so I can actually have good night sleep.I hope you have a low pain day. Scooterpea
