Open Chronic Pain

I have Fibromyalgia and their is always chronic pain that goes along with it. I have had this for about 40 years just 3 years ago diagnosed . That's my story

Chiropractic Adjustment Somewhat Helpful

Took a few adjustments about 6 months and really didn't see much change.

Heat Somewhat Helpful

I does work some.

Hydrocodone Somewhat Helpful

Stopped taking addictive

Lyrica Not Working

All I can say for this medication is that it caused me to gain 50 lbs, and I have not been able to get it off. Course I was told that people with Fibro their endorphines don't work..so therefore it is hard to lose anyway

Naproxen Somewhat Helpful

Just like an aleve would work

Neurontin Not Working

Made me very sleepie and I didn't like the feeling

Open Physical & Emotional Abuse

I have been married 3 times, the first one well he missed around on me, the second was bad I was not allowed to go anywhere without being timed, He verbally and physically abused me. The third was verbal, and when I found out he molested two of my granddaughters, he got physical with me,,,In fact I didn't even get all my things out of the house. lawyer advised me not to go back it was that bad with him

But I am getting off of it I was taking 0.25 3 times a day I have been taking this since 1983 and the end of last year and the first of this year I have cut back to one....would not advise anyone to get on this medication

I have fibromyalgia, depression, anxiety, just feel depressed most of the time and with winter coming on, I know it will be worst. Rachel

Open Diets & Weight Maintenance

I have fibro and I took the drug Lyrica and gained 50 some odd pounds, I quit taking it but I still can't get the pounds off. In fact I think it has got worse. Not able to exercise like I used to is a bummer also. Wish there was a magic fix.

It worked when I had enough energy to workout. The thing about it is I really have fatigue, depression along with it.

Open Medicare

I am on disability due to Fibromyalgia, have been since 2003. I think this support group is great.

Open Asperger Syndrome

I have maybe 3 grandchildren that have asperger syndrome, 2 positive, 1 not sure he is autistic. I would like to learn more how to come with them.
