I love to travel, cook, speak Italian. I lived in Italy for 5 years, and I play the viola with a community symphony orchestra. I love animals, family, being outdoors, swimming in the ocean.

Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Relapsing-remitting MSDiagnosed September 2003 after bout of optic neuritis. Since then have had 2 major exacerbations (one ongoing now) related to tingling and pain in hands (palms) and electric jolts through the body.
Treatments
- Avonex Working / Worked
- I like the weekly injection - easier to do, only need to think about it 1x a week. However, it may not be doing enough for me. Still TBD.
- Solumedrol Not Working
- I did 2 rounds, one for each exacerbation, but neither really worked.
- Neurontin Not Working
- Still taking it but not much has happened.
- Pamelor Too Soon to Tell
- Just started it.
