I have fibro caused by lyme disease. Many people with fibro actually have lyme disease and don't know it. Lyme disease tests are often false negative. So even if you have been tested, you may still have lyme. Use the Western Blot test at IgeneX labs and see a lyme disease doc to be sure. The lab's web site is igenex.com My cousin suffered for 20 years and just now found out it was lyme and is now getting better on antibiotics. See drcharlescrist.com for more info, also lymenet.org
I got lyme dieseas August 2005. Had the bull's eye and got treatment right away. It has not gone away, however, in spite of perpetual antibiotic treatment, althought he treatments have helped. I am tired and weak and suffer from chronic pain in muscles and joints, feels like I have the flue all the time. I get really really depressed and suffer from panic also. Just went to a new ld doc who is really helping. Be glad to share my story with anyone who is looking for a good doc.
