"Had a good week with no seizures."

Shock From Out Patients Visit! Mood
Wednesday, October 21, 2009 | A Call For Help story

Yesterday I went to see a new Neurologist at the hospital.  He had seen me when I was on the Intensive Care Unit due to a seizure in January and also the last time when admitted to hospital via A&E.

I was with him for a good hour discussing my Epilepsy and my medication.  I said I have a good long term memory but the short term can at times let me down.

Weight gain is now a problem and Epilim is the cause and it is starting to affect my heart and I become breathless after walking medium to long distances.  Anyway he refferd me to the Cardiology unit via my GP.

Last night I was so shocked I cried because either Epilepsy or my weight will affect my health.
