About Me
I was diagnosed with Uncontrolled Epilepsy at 10 and worked for 5 years at the council before being signed off sick by the Neurologist. I find that the medication, especially Epilim is/is not helping me. I help out with snooker leagues in the area and I am Secretary for the local league, district and county associations. I am a qualified snooker and billiards referee and qualified at 17 years old. I referee mainly billiards at class 1 level but Epilepsy stops me from doing International work.

Close Epilepsy & Seizures
I have Uncontrolled Epilepsy since I was 12 years old.
Treatments
- Clobazam Not Working
- As an anti-aniety drug neurologist used during teen years. Did not help.
- Keppra Somewhat Helpful
- Did help as a teenager. Did not like side effects.
- Lamictal Working / Worked
- It was a link to Epilim (Sodim Valporate) which I am on now.
- Tegretol Not Working
- Used in conjunction with Clobozam. No good at the time.
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- Drug is working well with Epilim and as I am fit and well Im OK. Stress can be a problem though that I have found.
Close Blindness & Visual Impairment
Type: Partially SightedI have been partially sighted since birth. The first 10 years of my life were the hardest going to the hospital 3-4 times a year. My sight is like looking through binoculars. The sight will not improve I've been told.
