      How is everything going? Haven't heard from you in a while and just checking in to make sure everything is OK. I finally got a pic of my back after surgery, go to my profile and check it out... kind of scary, something they need to put in the SAW 5 movie, HA HA... Anyway, hope everything is going OK, talk to you soon.

      I had corrective surgery in 1984--Harrington rods, I think. Other than some pain related to the surgery, I didn't have any problems. However, I did ask a LOT of questions and knew all options and alternatives. My mom was really great and let me decide. I had prayed about the surgery and was very confident in my result. I still feel great!!

      Treatments

      Brace Working / Worked
      Just had to wear it for a few months following surgery. Had to start high school with it--very embarrassing.
      Harrington Rods Working / Worked
      Worked like a charm. Can't do gymnastics or jump on trampoline.
      Pilates Working / Worked
      Works great! Flattens tummy too! Just be careful. Start slow and build up to full roll etc.
