Hi ! From Snowy Utah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thanks so much for your comment. This has been a very hard adjustment. I'm going to see if we can get some help tomorrow after the holidays. I don't know what made my daughter do such a stupid thing not once but twice. She may end up in jail. Her trial starts on Jan 29. I just have to be strong for my grandchildren. Thanks for all of your love and concern. We are both older I'm 58 & my husband is 68. So it hasn't been easy. I love my grandchildren very much. Big Snowy Hugs~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Suzanne
hi, it's been a while since i've been here and i'm sorry i haven't replied before - too much to do and not enough energy. when i had pnuemonia it took quite a while but then i didn't have antibiotics because we didn't know what it was, we thought it was a reaction to some RA drugs. no-one is really clear yet what went on. i just managed by myself by staying in bed - when i think of it now i'm horrified. my doctor said i should have gone to hospital but we didn't know what it was. i joined the myositis support group here and got some more information. remember that although you have pneumonia you still have myositis and with that you'll have random fevers and fatigue so if you add that to how you are may be it's not a wonder you're still feeling bad. give yourself time, love yourself and rest up as long as you need to. i also found out you can have myositis for years before it comes out in the rash and blows fully, which what i think has happened to me and i think the pnuemonia in january was the 'hello i'm here, and i'm gonna attack your lungs!'. let me know if there is anything i can help you with and in the meantime i wish you a speedy recovery and a wonderful christmas. here's to a 2009 which will be our best year yet, eh? love heti
what a blow! i hope you're feeling better soon and can have your chemo and continue your treatment. i had pneumonia in january and know how rotten you are feeling if that's any consolation. rest up and take your time to recover. i will be sending you loving vibes to speed your recovery. love Heti
I'm sorry you have been having a rough time of it. I hope your infection clears up quickly and you can complete your treatments. I live in the midwest in the U.S. and we're having cold weather and snow this week. It is supposed to warm up. Just take care of yourself and I'm glad all your friends are getting together for the holidays so no one has to cook everything. Take care and feel better soon! dottie
