Thanks Sweetie..One more question. Have you ever had any problems with your Ferritin being high. Mine came back 306 overload on Iron. It can cause your organs to fail like your pancreas, heart and kidneys.

Close Pancreatitis
Last year I was in the ER for pain, they saw a blockage in the head of my pancreas. After many attempts to get at it they sent me to a teaching hospital who did a fine needle biopsy which came back as pancreatic cancer, had Whipple procedure, after sending the smear out they said it wasn't cancer but Auto Immune Chronic Pancreatitis
Treatments
- Azathioprine Working / Worked
- This medicine makes me have alot of aches and pains in addition to the normal aches and pains. Not sure if it is working though, I have had a cold since early Novemeber.
- Demerol Working / Worked
- Fiorinol Working / Worked
- for the bad headaches I get
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- still trying to get the right dosage
- Pancrelipase Somewhat Helpful
- On Viokase 8,

Close Pancreatic Cancer
I was told I had less then 6 months to live, that I had adeno carcinoma pancreatic cancer. After they performed the Whipple I was told that is was not cancer but Auto immune chronic pancreatis
Treatments
- Whipple Procedure Somewhat Helpful
- One and a half years ago I had the whipple procedure done, they thought that it was cancer, the surgery took 18 hours, you are right walking was a big help in getting better. I was sent home with 3 tubes and a feeding tube. It took more then 6 months to recuperate, I have some problems now, but that is because I did not have the cancer, I have auto immune chronic pancreatitis.
