this morning i had a lovely surprise,the postman brought our mail,and there was a lovey card in it,it was from the vet surgery that looked after Oscar,expressing there sympathy for our loss of Oscar,and telling us that if we need to talk at all we would be very welcome to go to them,,,how nice was that i was absolutely gobsmacked,,,,our little Billyjoe will be a year old on november 5th, a big firework party is being arranged for him,he loves fireworks,he is walking five steps on his own now,and he says quite a few words,he is so gorgeous and special,i love him so much,,,,Jo is doing very well at the moment she has to go for a scan tomorrow,to see if Chloe is still growing she seems to think she has stopped again but we will see,other than that all seems to be ok ,,,,Brenda is coming to us this afternoon for a few hours,that will be good,Len will go and fetch her and Mick,she too is doing quite well at the moment,she is just tired and has mouth ulcers caused by the chemo,but she has stuff to help with that,,,,me , well what can i say,i am still in a lot of pain from arthur,and i have had a headache for the last two days,i am so fed up of this now,it is not just the headaches it is also the aura's i get ,my right eye is covered by a black cloud and i can't see anything out of it for anywhere from five mins to half and hour,it is so annoying cause then i can't keep my balance,and when the sight comes back,my sight is unclear for the rest of the day,i am waking up at night to this now,,,,i have looked on the internet to do with this,and i am going to ask my doctor if he will send me for a scan as it is sometimes caused by pressure on the brain,which can be treated,the meds i am on for the headaches doesn't work anymore, i just hope the doc will be a bit more helpfull this time,i am getting ready now for halloween,i have had my cloak cleaned,my broom has been serviced and given a clean bill of health,cosmic the cat has been groomed and looks great,i had to have my hat repointed though, i had a bit of a prang last year when i was landing back at the coven and it sort of got broken off, i will be looking out for you all on my travels,be good and be carefull,love and magical hugs to you all,witchnell.

Isn't it nice when we get surprised by someone, the vet, that goes beyond the norm? What a nice thing for them to do. I know that Brenda appreciates your continued support. When our lives are changed because of illness we need support of family and friends. Wow ! fireworks in November for Billy Joe. What fun......Jo and Chloe are in my prayers. Keep us posted. I understand all of the aches and pains from arthritis. It is so damp here and my pain pills have not kicked in yet. I am sorry about all of the trouble with your eyes. If the doctor does give you good results you might want to look elsewhere. Sometimes the doctors just tune us out and don't listen. Now, as for the broom I am glad you got it checked out. Be sure and take pictures as you travel around the area. Hugs

yes it is nice ,i have never known that before ,i have always had at two pets at anyone time,but the vets have never gone that far before,this vet has only been in our area for about four years,we can walk there in five minutes,so it was well worth changing they are so sensitive to the owners feelings no matter what they have to see them about,,,,thanks too for you prayers for Brenda ,Jo ,and Chloe,,,,if see you as i pass on my broom i will pop in for a cuppa so be ready in case,love and hugs,helen.
