My husband has alzhemiers. It has been 6 years since we first found out. He has very little memeory. He does not know our 7 children.He knows me but not my name. I volunteer as a victims advocate for the sheriff's office.I am on call for the deputies. I feel very blessed that I can take care of Joe ar home. But I am so lonsome there is no conversation, or laughter in the evenings. We have 2 dogs, one cat, and two cockitels anf fish in the pond out back. So they are my company.

I took my husband to CA to Irvin they have a hospital there that deals with Brain injures and Alzheimer's. They gave him both medications twice a day
