Thank you for the reply. My son is an IT Director for a large company, and he thinks it has something to do with my yahoo and how it is set up. He needs to reload the program, but hasn't had time. If/when he fixes the problem, I can contact you then. I happen to be someone good for this survey though since I read a lot about fibro meds, and have taken some as well.

Thanks a bunch, I get the idea (I think), you want to exemplify the random study by live experiences of the people of DS, aka more detailed interviews on certain issues?

Hi Robert, thank you for your answer, recruiting only via this site seems to be difficult in creating random sample, rather what you describe is snowball sampling (asking me to share with my friends- sure I will do so), it is more appropriate for smaller studies- e.g. pilot study. Is your study a pilot study that accompany bigger research? How would you measure discrimination? What kind of opportunities for policy change do you have? What university doing this study? What are some research questions that you would like to answer? Thank you, Anna.

Hi, I am Anna Gluzman,I think your project is interesting. I wonder though that it speaks nothing about gender differences in depression- even though the statistics suggest that women suffer nearly twice as much from depression than men. You try to encorporate messages to effective treatment, seeing depression solely as medical condition. What about difference in power, discrimination and inequality in the society? Medical treatment will not help those...And I think we know little about how society shapes unequally mental health, especially if medical treatment adopted- the problem then is to fix individual not the society. Thank you.
