married with one child, the cutest little boy ever! my mom recently lost her fight with metastic breast cancer. but the last thing she wanted was to be a grama and she got her wish! my son was 6 weeks old when she passed away, but she got to visit with him twice in that time! my mom had the BRCA2 gene mutation and i am well aware of my cancer risk. i have already sat with an oncologist and plan on getting tested for the gene next year.

I lost my mom to breast cancer 7 yrs ago and i know how you are feeling. She got to see me get married 6 months before her passing. Im here if u wanna talk. :)

i am sorry for your loss. i lost my mom to cancer. she was 60 yrs old and died of a rare form of uterine cancer. i miss her everyday. i am so happy that she got to see her grandchild. i am sure she is smiling above you just like my mom. i am here if you ever need to vent.

i am not a cancer patient or survivor. my mom recently lost her fight with breast cancer and she had the BRCA2 gene. she had breast cancer 3 separate times, 2 types of breast cancer. her mother also died from breast cancer. i am fully aware of my risks and have spoken with an oncologist. i plan on getting tested for the gene next year.

Type: Loss of a Parentmy mom lost her fight with breast cancer. we knew she was dying when she found out she had breast cancer for the 3rd time and it had metastisized. she lived almost a year after we found out. i was fortunate enough to visit with her every month, since i lived in a different state. also, i was pregnant with my mom's first grandchild! which is the last thing she wanted in life...to be a grama! we had time to prepare for her death, but that only eased the pain slightly. she was young and i am young. it is hard to believe i will live my life without my best friend.
