Moving to portland
So I moved to Portland December 28th 2008!! And started really runnign and doing well. I have run an 11, minute mile since I moved here :) …
I need to quit smoking, I like hiking, i am outdoorsy... I am simple. I am just about to finish grad school in the OC of CA. I'm on my last semester, Whoo Hoo! I was doing pretty damn well until I moved here... but I've managed to balance things out a bit. I think my body hates smog, and I am excited to be leaving here soon :) Anthropology is my focus at this time (and no it's not only bones and stuff, it's present day people too, hahaha). The experience here, or more accurately this phase of my life, has been one of the most amazing learning experiences I could have ever hoped for. Both the some of the worst times and some of the best times of my life.

Man, after a long break, I've finally got back into biking and the gym... but now I lost the 5 lbs I gained... It's interesting... when …

I only had 2 cigarettes today. Can I make this a habit before I let it go completely? The fewer there are each day, the better right!

It's not easy to get all the motivation to keep up a routine... but once you are in it, it is easier to keep it going. I can't believe that …
Hola chica, thanks for the advice about the glutagenics. I'm gonna check it out this afternoon and see if I can get some. I do take probiotics, folic acid and iron. The three combo gives me energy for the day. Thanks again and hope your week is a good one! :)
Hola chica, how are things up where you live? I am out of remission and am trying to heal naturally. Really hope things will go well with this. God bless you and your health and if you have any tips on how to handle remissions the all natural way it would be greatly appreciated! :)
I hope you are doing well. I came this close >< to signing up for the CCFA Vegas half marathon. I just slipped into a flare-up.
Keep on trucking on the non smoking thing.... I've gone 2 weeks and I finally feel like it's the right thing. I too am active and I've noticed that I can be more active and that in turn keeps me from wanting a ciggy as much.
thanks! I am excited and exhausted and this is my last one, 2 is good for me.. how are you feeling these days??
I have had UC officially diagnosed as ulcerative proctitis in 2000. My aunt is the only living relative with UC, she lost her colon at 12, two years after her diagnosis. It has been an on again, off again battle, or should I say challenge? But on the positive side, my body and I have really learned to communicate!! I took salfazaline (sp?) once, a side effect was rectal bleeding... not so effective for treating rectal bleeding... eh? So, I've been on the natural route ever since.
