Hey Orchid, wow thanks, that was awesome, could you pray for me and my sweetie Julia, she is really sick in the hospital right now, and I am worried sick! Thanks so much for the words of encouragement, I appreciate the blessing.
hugs!
You rock, Orchid! I've been using a PT and tried many other modalities, but not prolotherapy (sp?) yet. Incidentally, my PT and I were just talking about this today. This whole thing began as a yoga injury as well (standing separate leg stretching pose in Bikram (Hot) Yoga like 12 years ago. It has progressively worsened with age, scoliosis, and two posterior-presenting babies delivered vaginally. Finally, jumping on the bike too soon post-delivery and taking some huge hills put me over the edge. I've been in life-altering pain for over two years now. Thanks for starting this group. I was at quite a low Saturday when I joined and finding the group and joining was just the amount of energy I had left to do something good for myself. Bless people like you who take the time to give back after healing themselves! Love, CourtneyC
thank you but i think its good to know what i'm up against at this age. at least i learn what i can do at a young age an still have plenty of time to figure out if certain treatments will or wont work. i'll research prolotherapy an i'll get my doctors to as an see what they think of it. if they have the drug they might be able to help. been through a fair amount of surgeries with out much luck. after my recent surgery an my joint dislocating a week after it, well we know its failed. lets hope this can help, or at least help to some degree. some of my joints are at a stage of no return. like my one shoulder which the doctors are thinking of fusing (so dont want to do there at this age). lol thanks. it took a while to find that avatar, i saw it some were an i loved it but forgot were an when i saw it again i just saved it ^^
