I am a 35yo man, who is looking in to the prospect of Gastric Bypass Surgery. I have attended a couple of support groups, but they are far away and with gas prices the way they are, I just can't seem to get to them enough. I am currently 350lbs., I suffer from asthma, arthrits of the knees and back, sleep apnea and major depression. I need to here real stories about gastric bypass. I want to know what has happened with some of you, what was your expeirence like, was it worth it, was it what you expected? I want to know just what I am getting into, the good, the bad and the ugly. I would esescially like to here from anyone who has had their surgery done at Eastern Maine Medical center in Bangor Maine.
