9 years ago, on the 4th of july, my dearest grandfather passed away. He fought a hard fight with 2 types of cancer for over 5 years. He was the strongest, most passionate, loving person in my life. (besides my grams) the one man in my life i will love forever. I even named my son after him. He was amazing. I miss u papa. I hope one day i can be half of what u were. Your strength, your will power to fight, your passion, your heart. tears fill my eyes as i type, u are my angel now. I see that. I held your hand as u took your last breath, u took a part of me with u. They sure don't make men like you anymore. You are my hero, my angel, the one i have always looked up to. just know u are in my thoughts this weekend. i love you now and forever. your grandaughter.
