About Me
I'm 21, bipolar, a full-time psychology/special ed college student, a full-time aide for a ten year old girl with CP, a volunteer EMT, a trumpet player in a local 6 time world champion drum and bugle corps, poet, cook/baker and most of the time a whole lot of fun. :) Most of the people in my life understand me and my qualms (sp?) but there's a few who just say, " Oh think happy thoughts and you'll make yourself happy." Hence, my username. ;)

I love to bake, cook, write, read, play trumpet, clarinet, and more, walk, swim, speed in an ambulance (when I'm not the patient of course). I have a GREAT family and awesome doctors... and I crack my knuckles WAY too much. *gulp*

Thanks for your comment in my journal! I try to have hope about my mom, but she's 71 years old and already not in great health. I'm holding my breath that we don't get bad news on the 7th. Congrats on having your job for next year! I liked living in a dorm. It was lots of fun, but it seemed there weren't too many people around in the summer to hang out with. Hope you're having a great day! : )

Lots of meds, hospitals, money, people, time, and it's all been worth it.

- once a shot in the butt in NY Pres. *oops*

- Out of about 26 meds, it was one of two that have worked, didn't gain any weight, actually lost some of the 90 lbs. I gained from Risperdal. however, I still have dystonic reactions and sometimes wake up not breathing.

- Geodon Not Working
- gave me dystonia, it's like a seizure but you're awake and it's PAINFUL

Close Dystonia
I have Bipolar, and after 1.5 years of treatment, I started having dystonic reactions and was rushed to the ER several times. They have mostly stopped, but sometimes they come back with a panic attack.

Got checked several times a year for years for hypothyroidism and then about six months ago the tests came back different and my numbers were off the charts. synthroid seems to work. :)
