It's funny to me sometimes how things come to you. And when they do. Tonight, I broke up with my boyfriend. I told him off for the hurt he has caused in what he has said to me, and what he has done to me. It felt sooooo good! Like I have been living in the guise of a little lamb, when in reality, I am anything but! I let out my inner lion today, and it felt amazing! It has been hiding, too afraid to come out, trapped in that fear. But today, when I let it come out, it was like rediscovering myself. The new me is like the old me, but she knows how strong she is. She knows that she has gone through hell and back and survived. That she has the potential to survive anything life throws at her. I love her! She's me. She's who I have always been, but who I have suppressed. She is back, and so is comfort in who I am. I am her. She is me. We are one person, and that old timid lamb is gone forever.
