Close Self-Injury
I am 21, I started cutting when I was 13, My life went to hell after lossing someone really close to me from cancer. the cutting was off and on for the next 8 years. I had been hospitalized when I was 13. after that everything went under ground, I finally hit rock bottom about a year ago. 17 stitches later I finally scared myself into quiting. I was good for one year and then I screwed up. I want to stay on the straight and narrow, I just need some support.
Treatments
- Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- I wasn't willing to be truthful with the counseler let alone myself.
- Rubber Bands Not Working
- Not what I was looking for. the pain wasn't enough.
- Talking Not Working
- People don't like to here about these kind of problems. They are not sure what to say or think. Some people would prefer to do the out of sight and out of mind

- Positive Thinking Not Working
- Valium Somewhat Helpful
Open Hysterectomy
Well I am not sure if this is the right place for me, but I am lost I am 22 and am going to have a salpingo-oophorectomy, on Dec 22, no x-mas for me. I just feel so alone.
