I went in for my 3 month check up after the other day and my gynocologyst told me that the clear cell epitheal ovarian cancer is the one that usually comes back. I was so depressed when she told me that. I don't ever want to go through this again!! I had breast cancer when I was 41 and ovarian cancer at 51.
I asked her what the symptoms are for recurrance of ovarian cancer. She just said to watch for any changes in my bowels and if I feel "funny" to get right in to see her.
Now that I have had ovarian cancer I always feel "funny". EVERYTHING makes me feel "funny" like I have cancer. A cramp, an itch, a feeling of fullness, you name it. So how will I know when to get right in to see her??? There isn't anything FUNNY about it!!
