About Me
I was going to leave the country to pursue a career path that I had prepared for. But, then I started to have serious unexplained physical problems that had developed during college over the years. In 2006 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Now I am taking Avonex and pursuing all avenues of Integrated Medicine to help me knock back the MS and lead a happy and fulfilling life.

Independent Film, Retro Music, Physical Fitness and any kind of comedy. I also have been delving more so into prayer and meditation pretty heavily after my diagnoses of MS and its working.

hi,hun read u journal and i am sorry that u r having a hard what seems to be troubling u. i would like to share something with u that my mom tol me when my dad died when i was 8. "god grant me the serenity to accept the things that i cannot change, the courage to change the things i can change, the wisdom to know the difference i am 44 years old and i say that everymoring before i get up. i have 4 more but i dont want to bore u. if there is anything i can do to help u through this rough time i am here for u. remember, u r not alone we are all in this together. take care love ya

Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Relapsing-remitting MSI had a relapse 11/07 about one year after my major attack 09/06. I�ve had probable MS since I was about 20 years old. I had another exacerbation in May 2009 and I really hope a new therapy comes out for all of us.
Treatments
- Avonex Working / Worked
- The interferon makes me sore, but it has helped me for the first year and the flu-like symptoms took one year to go away.
- Baclofen Working / Worked
- I have less spasms but I feel more tired in the morning.
- Meditation Working / Worked
- Just try it and see.
- Prayer Working / Worked
- Prayer has helped me before and after having MS.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- I have more strength and stamina after I take it, but it will inflict havoc on my body like the Interferon.
- Provigil Working / Worked
- Provigil helps me in many ways. I hope it lasts.
- Solumedrol Too Soon to Tell
- I can walk better and my vision seems better. I just hope I don't have to take it for the long term.
