About Me
My name is Donna and I am a 48-year-old mother of 6, (ages 25, 23, 22, 16, 14 and 12) and grandmother of 2 (ages 4 and 3). I am also married to my soul mate, who has been my rock thruout this whole ordeal. We had been married for only 8 months when I fell down one step 5 years ago and broke my tibia bone in my left leg. There were many complications and I ended up having 10 surgeries, the last one being in September 2007 where they amputated my left leg below the knee. I am also very active in a 12-step program, which has helped me out tremendously with the past 5 years of surgeries and disappointments. I have learned over time that the only thing I can control in my life is my attitude. I have a choice, every day, every minute, on how my outlook on life is. I have learned that when I feel healthy and postive, I attract positive. I'd much rather go thru life feeling positive and happy. I also know that God would never give me more than I can handle. I just wish he didn't trust me so much!

Family, friends, my kids and any sports they are playing or activities they are doing. I am usually the one running around with a camera to my face, trying to get the best shots of their games. Photography, AA meetings, walking, gardening, enjoying life.
